Abstract
This paper addresses the issue of obesity, which is promoted by inappropriate lifestyles of individuals within the community. Traditionally, obesity has been linked to anemia and numerous chronic infections with reducing the immunity of people. Research results prove that the issue of obesity goes a long way
, and affects all people, whether young or old in the community. This paper also presents findings regarding the treatment of iron deficiency, especially in overweight and obese individuals. Communicating results of research about this issue needs to be submitted and addressed in the most efficient and professional manner. Future studies have also been highlighted, and the primary aim is to determine whether causal relationships exist between iron deficiency and the problem of obesity in the society. The determination of the standard mean difference was used to come up with measures and estimates for no overlapping weight and obese groups. Religious foundations and diverse points of view have also been significantly addressed.
Keywords: obesity, iron, deficiency, anemia
The academic community knows obesity to be characterized by low-grade, chronic and systematic inflammation that has some connection to anemia. Therefore, they agree with this research that obesity could be linked to anemia features of chronic diseases which include low serum, low concentration of hemoglobin and heightened serum ferritin. In the study, normal weight adults are compared to obese participants regarding concentration of hemoglobin and serum iron levels as well as ferritin levels (Zhao, Zhang, Shen, Fang, Wang &Wang, 2015). The academic community agreed with the research, based on the fact that obese people have a higher need for iron due to their need of blood volume. If they are not keen on consuming supplements that would raise their iron levels, then it is true that they can end up being anemic. The academic community also agreed with findings of this research because it is true that when a person's body get reduced physical activities, then it is most probable that they would get low myoglobin levels. These are iron-binding proteins articulated in muscle tissue. The academic community also backed up this research because there has been a link between enhanced BMI and reduced TS and iron.
To present the results to the religious community, I would first seek to be as informative as possible. Various researchers have stated that there are higher chances of religious people to be obese compared to nonreligious people. (Karle, & George, 2008) This means that religious people have a higher risk of also being anemic. Some religions oppose campaigns of reducing obesity, connecting the disorder with God's creation. To enlighten them, I would first educate them on the risks of the diseases and provide them prevention measures as ways of treating the problem before actually giving them the results. This way they will take the information with more seriousness because they are well informed.
