A rhetoric situation refers to the manner in which a rhetoric event can bring about issues and also relate to the audience as well as the constraints that relate to a particular problem. There are certain ways in which a researcher can organize information during research. One such way is the Peter Elbow Approach, in which the researcher jots down then the purpose of researching the topic, the collection of keywords and identifying the areas to find information. The other method is the use of the outline approach, in which the researcher describes the areas that require focus. The mind mapping technique can also be used to organize ideas. It is a form of free-writing.
A working thesis helps the author to achieve focus and direction for the purposes of writing an essay. By providing enough guidance and focus, the author can ground his work in a systematic manner. It is important to have a working thesis early in the research to concentrate on the most specific issues under inquiry. In choosing rhetorical patterns, the writer can resort to picking a definitive topic that can be supported with data. Additionally, writers avoid logical fallacies and distinct questions as well as employing rational appeals. The researcher should avoid emotional appeals at all costs. For example, a researcher can choose a topic on changing the rules of football based on the argument that professional football endangers the neurological health of the players and leads to irreparable brain damage in some athletes.
