I might find difficulty in working with a cautious person. The reason I
find this a challenge to me is because I believe in risk taking when it comes
to aggressiveness in doing a job and goal orientation. The fact that I find
cautious people fail to make decisions without complete
information, I find it
as a sluggish action towards emerging issues as such in the business world
where a person’s adaptability to highly changing variables determines the
overall success. The fact that cautious individuals are always too much
concerned on anything can easily make them fail to achieve goals since their
achievement orientation might be too much on whether they fail to accomplish a
task what would be the outcome.
Of all the strategies I would recommend to work with this personality is
to boost their confidence level through giving them low risk opportunities to
experiment. I would consider recommending such individuals to gather enough
knowledge on a particular topic to boost their risk appetite when it comes to
ease with decision making. I would encourage such individuals to be goal
oriented rather than being too cautious as they easily end capitalizing on
“what if” sentiments.
