Why was Vanity Fair concerned about preserving the organizational culture and unique brand identities of their acquisitions?
Vanity Fair was concerned with preserving their organizational culture and unique brand identities on their acquisition since their decision to expand their markets was challenged by their production capacity. As a result of contracting and outsourcing from
other producers, they had to match their set standards and still assure the market that not only is their brand superior but it’s reliable also. They found that the organizational structures that they were using before acquiring other companies to increase production was highly reliable and thus for operations to run seamlessly they thus replicated the same organizational structure. With the same organizational structure they could now be able to move staff from one company to the other and be able to manage from a decentralized point. Their main aim was to satisfy new demand and help other areas to become efficient in the future.
